Maryanne McCormack (JOANNE) graduated from the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) Sydney Australia in 1999 with a BA in Acting. Since then she has gone on to create an impressive list of credits to her name both in her native country of Australia and Internationally.
                                           
In Australia MaryAnne performed the lead role of Gypsy in "Gypsy" for the Production Company to critical acclaim. She then went on to perform the role of Rosemary in "How to Succeed...." for which she was nominated for a Green Room Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role. She performed the role of Georgie in the Australian/US production of "The Full Monty" under the direction of Tony Award Winner Jack O'Brien for which she was nominated for a Helpmann Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role.

In 2003 MaryAnne was announced the Winner of the "Sydney Cabaret Convention" and was invited to perform at New York Cabaret Convention in NYC along some of her most admired Broadway Stars. Whilst in New York she performed her solo Cabaret show at the highly acclaimed "Don’t Tell Mama" along with a workshop of two New Musicals for the York Theatre Company.

Some other credits in Australia and Asia include Marion in Frank McCourts "The Irish....", Emma in "Tell me on a Sunday", "And the World Goes Round", "Mame", "She loves Me", Kate "Nicholas Nickleby", Celia "As you Like it", Lynnie  "Furious", Squeaky "Assassins", "Six Degrees of Separation", Adelaide in Chang & Eng.

Whilst in the UK some of MaryAnne's credits include Georgie in the Irish Tour of "The Full Monty", "Dancing Queen" UK/European/Dubai Tour  "Broadway" UK/European Tour, "Christmas" European Tour, along with various other corporate events. MaryAnne was also involved choreographically on KenMac's production of "Closer than Ever" at last years Edinburgh Festival. MaryAnne is also a writer/composer and teacher and has taught at a number of Australia's Leading Performing Arts Schools.  Her musical co-written with Anthony Costanzo was short listed for the Inaugural Pratt Prize for Music Theatre in Australia.
